Good, but a gamble

When this product works, it works great -- you can fire your Solaire grill with a large refillable propane cylinder for hours of excellent grilling. However, there appears to be a serious falt with this product. At least two people I know of, myself and a firend, have received hoses with an actuator pin that is either too short or set too deep within the fitting, so that it is not depressed by the regulator stem and no gas comes through. I myself have ordered two of these: one works fine and the other has the aforementioned problem. As I live in the Middle East and had these shipped all the way over here, I'm not about to send them back. In my experience though, Rasmussen is a great company and I'm sure they would make good. However, the problem seems to be prevalent enough that they really should address it with their supplier. As is is now, it seems that you stand a pretty good chance of getting a faulty product.
